Noble's Park setting for GoDoActive event

Noble’s Park in Douglas provided the setting for the inaugural GoDoActive event, a day of fitness and fun activities in support of Love Parks Week, the UK-wide celebration of parks and open spaces.

The public was invited to take part in activity sessions including walking football, Zumba, Pilates, walk and talk, Out2Play and gardening.

The GoDoActive campaign forms part of the government’s Physical Activity Strategy 2011-2016 aimed at raising awareness of the range of physical activity opportunities available in the Island and promoting the beneficial effects of exercise for all ages and levels of ability.
