Douglas golf course is one of only a select number of golf courses in the world designed by Dr Alexander (Alister) MacKenzie, architect of some of the world’s most challenging courses, among which are the Augusta National in Atlanta, Georgia and Australia’s Royal Melbourne.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Owned by Douglas Borough Council, the 18-hole municipal golf course, maintained by specialist Council ground staff, offers some of the finest golf in the Island.

The golf course also provides extensive clubhouse facilities in the Meadows Pavilion, including:

  • Restaurant with Sunday carvery;

 

  • Function suites for hire;

 

  • Professional's shop;

 

  • Parking for 80 vehicles.
