Archdeacon retires as Mayor's chaplain

Ahead of His Worship the Mayor Councillor Jonathan Joughin JP leaving office as Mayor of Douglas in August he has thanked the Ven Andrew Brown for his three years of service as Mayor's chaplain.

At a reception at Douglas town hall the Archdeacon was joined by his wife, Jane (pictured below) and former Mayors of Douglas, Councillor Raina Chatel and Councillor Ritchie McNicholl, together with members of the Pitts family as he had also served as Mayor's chaplain to the late Debbie Pitts.
