Attractions include bouncy castles, family races, children’s shows, car boot, local independent retailers and charity stalls, face painting and a whole host of other amusements.

Regeneration and Community Committee Chair Councillor Stephen Pitts said: ‘Thanks to the hard work of many of our officers and staff members, together with support from local businesses, the fun day is set to be a memorable community event. The setting, of course, couldn’t be better: the Council’s award-winning Noble’s Park, maintained magnificently by our Parks Service and this year with the added attraction of the new splash zone which is proving to be a great success.’

The fun day is from 1 to 5pm and entry is free. Pitches are still available for charities and local retailers. To apply, contact Wendy Wynne.
