Courtesy visit by naval regional commander

Commodore Phil Waterhouse RN, naval regional commander for northern England and the Isle of Man, paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor and Mayoress on Thursday June 29.

Commodore Waterhouse has served in the Royal Navy for 35 years, the majority of which was spent at sea on logistics command assignments in frigates, destroyers and amphibious vessels. Ashore he has commanded the Defence Maritime Logistics School and the shore establishment HMS Drake.
