Her Worship the Mayor of Douglas Councillor Sara Hackman JP presided over an act of remembrance on Sunday August 2, 2015, to mark the 42nd anniversary of the Summerland disaster.
The brief ceremony was held in the Kaye Memorial Garden on Queen's Promenade, Douglas where Her Worship laid a wreath on the Summerland memorial.
On August 2, 1973, 50 people died and many more were injured when fire raged through the Summerland leisure complex.
